Job summary
Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects. The position reports to the Manager, Large Project Electrical Systems & Equipment and is located in Cranberry Township, PA, with a hybrid work setup.
You will work on electrical system design, instrumentation and controls, and collaborate with other departments to meet project goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of power plant systems and equipment.
- Experience with power projects.
- Experience developing procurement specifications and reviewing proposals.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering design and analysis for electrical systems for nuclear products/projects.
- Use software packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, Maximo, or similar.
- Work with other internal departments to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
- Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
- Develop engineering design documents including technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations and specifications.
- Work with client and site personnel to resolve issues germane to project success.
