Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) seeks a Manager, Shift Operations for the Defense Waste Processing Facility (DWPF) based in Aiken, SC. This senior role directs all DWPF shift operations, providing work direction and decisive leadership to ensure safe and efficient performance across maintenance, I&E, work control, QA, IH, Laboratory, and other support functions.

The position emphasizes nuclear safety culture, emergency decision-making, and enforcing policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a nuclear facility.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Ability to direct operations on a shift and make timely safety-focused decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations personnel on a given shift to ensure efficient work per policies.
• Ensure facility operates safely and in line with procedures and staffing requirements.
• Authorize work and plant configuration changes and lockouts when needed.
