Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking experienced Mechanical, Electrical and Civil/Structural Design Engineers to join our Lenexa, KS team. You will work with our design, fabrication and construction groups on nuclear projects across North America in a safety-focused environment.

Required: engineering degree in M/E/C/S, 5–10+ years design experience; DOE/nuclear exposure desired; P.E. certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural, Chemical Engineering degree is REQUIRED. P.E. is highly desirable.
• 5-10+ years of design engineering experience.
• DOE/commercial nuclear experience is highly desirable. Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
