Job summary

Southern Ohio Cleanup Company LLC seeks a Nuclear Criticality Safety Officer to ensure safe handling, storage, and transport of fissile materials in full regulatory compliance. You will review operations, update safety procedures, and support training efforts across facilities and sites.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate nuclear operations and procedures for safety and conformance with regulations.
• Perform physical evaluations of facilities and fissile material handling to ensure safe operations.
• Review fissile material operations to ensure appropriate safety controls are understood and implemented.
• Provide guidance to operations management on NCS issues.
• Develop or update NCS procedures or training programs.
• Assist with delivery of training programs.
• Maintain knowledge of safety policies and perform duties safely.
• Participate in Safety Work Groups.
