Dominion Energy's Operations department at the Surry Nuclear Power Station in Virginia is seeking non-licensed Nuclear Control Room Operator candidates. You will operate turbine generator and reactor support systems while training to become licensed Reactor Operators.

Qualifications

• Naval Nuclear Propulsion training completed with ≥4 years hands-on field experience in EM/MM/ET/ELT.
• Or completed a similar Non-Licensed Operator program at another nuclear station with ≥4 years related experience.
• Have or held an RO or SRO license at a nuclear facility.
• BS in Engineering and 1 year power plant experience.
• Engineering degree is a plus; strong math and mechanical aptitude; Leadership qualities.

Responsabilités

• Operate turbine generator and reactor support systems to gain Reactor Operator qualification.
• Monitor and control plant equipment and systems.
• Perform maintenance and surveillance activities.
• Prepare and transfer nuclear fuel elements during refueling.
• Assist in training program development and participate in on-the-job training.
