Job summary

Vallum Associates is partnering with a US nuclear technology company to recruit a Construction Project Manager in Idaho. The role leads complex industrial construction activities, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, procurement and site execution to deploy first-of-a-kind nuclear technology.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction management, strong leadership, and proven delivery of large-scale industrial projects.

Qualifications

10+ years of construction management or major capital project delivery experience.
Proven delivery of industrial, energy, power generation or infrastructure projects.
Direct experience managing construction contractors, budgets and site execution.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, engineering interfaces and project controls.
Experience coordinating commissioning and project handover.

Responsibilities

Lead construction execution from planning and contractor mobilization through installation and handover.
Manage contractors, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, safety and quality.
Coordinate engineering deliverables, procurement, fabrication and site activities.
Resolve constructability challenges and manage project risks, costs and change orders.
Oversee installation of factory-manufactured modules and engineered equipment.
Coordinate mechanical completion, commissioning readiness and system handover.
Maintain project controls, progress reporting and critical-path schedules.
Ensure compliance with applicable construction and quality standards.
