Job summary

DTE Electric Company is seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee major construction projects at a nuclear generation facility. You will coordinate design changes, manage a team of leads and journeymen, and ensure compliance with safety and work-control processes.

The role requires on-site work, strong leadership, and proven ability to deliver complex projects on schedule while maintaining ALARA standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus five years’ experience in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls or construction management, including one year in a nuclear plant.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the Core Team for implementation and constructability input at process meetings.
• Apply design change input to ensure constructability is incorporated and scheduled for station goals.
• Coordinate with onsite groups (Security, Radiation Protection, Work Control, Operations) for safe, cost-effective implementation.
• Ensure staff have required training and follow ALARA practices in radiological areas.
