Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking a Construction Engineer to support the HPC site installation of mechanical equipment at Hinkley Point C. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing installation activities, while ensuring documentation and safety compliance across all teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and project teams.
• Experience in construction, engineering, nuclear, oil and gas, energy, infrastructure or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience supporting installation of mechanical equipment, mechanical systems or HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and execution of mechanical equipment installation activities across the HPC site.
• Manage construction work packs and ensure installation documentation is completed and maintained to project requirements.
• Monitor installation progress, identify blockers and drive actions to maintain delivery against schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, client representatives and contractors to resolve technical and construction challenges.
• Provide health, safety and environmental leadership while ensuring compliance with site licence conditions, CDM and project procedures.
