Westinghouse Electric Company in Rock Hill, SC is hiring a Commissioning Engineer to develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures and test protocols for nuclear systems. You will report to the Manager - Commissioning, work a mobile/hybrid role, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure readiness for commissioning.

The role requires a BS in mechanical, chemical or nuclear engineering, knowledge of FAT/testing, and willingness to travel within the first year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, chemical or nuclear engineering required.
• Strong familiarity with testing and testing analysis.
• Familiarity with nuclear power plant designs for PWR/BWR/AP1000 or advanced reactors.
• Engineer in Training certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to Westinghouse or customer sites within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures and test protocols for nuclear systems and components.
• Report to the Manager - Commissioning and work a mobile/hybrid role in Rock Hill, SC.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure readiness for commissioning.
• Review and verify system design documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Identify problems and propose solutions to projects and tasks assigned.
• Support senior engineering personnel.
