Job summary

Atlas seeks a Construction Materials Testing Field & Lab Tech in Kemmerer, WY to conduct field tests on concrete, soils and aggregates and to perform lab testing while maintaining accreditations. This role balances field work with lab duties and requires travel to site locations.

You will read plans, operate testing equipment, document results, and support other teams under Atlas safety policies. Relevant certifications are preferred; associate degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Field and lab testing experience preferred for CMT projects.
• Willingness to travel to sites within the reporting area.
• Ability to read plans and specs and follow QC procedures.
• Certifications such as ACI/CCRLEtc or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Performs field quality control tests of concrete, masonry and other construction materials.
• Performs field density testing on soil, asphalt and other materials.
• Maintain lab accreditations and obtain required certifications.
• Manage and conduct lab testing of concrete, soils and other CMT materials.
• Travel to construction sites; occasional overnight/weekend work.
• Enter field observation and summary reports; support other departments.
• Read construction plans/specs and follow QC plans and SOPs.
