Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Field & Lab Tech Technician - Nuclear for a 2-3 year remote field assignment supporting the Natrium reactor. The role includes field tests of concrete, soils, and aggregates, lab testing, and maintaining accreditations.

Pre-deployment training in Idaho Falls, with occasional travel to project sites; per diem provided. Must have high school diploma; willingness to travel; OSHA 10 and ACI/ Nuclear certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to travel to reporting office and surrounding areas.
• Experience with field and lab testing in construction materials is a plus.
• APNGA Nuclear Certification, ACI Field/Lab Testing Technician, OSHA 10-hour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field quality control tests on concrete, masonry, soils, aggregates, and asphalt.
• Conduct field density testing on soil and asphalt.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications for the lab and testing inspections.
• Manage and conduct lab testing of concrete, soils, and other CMT materials.
• Daily travel to various sites with occasional overnight/weekend work.
• Record field observations and reports electronically.
