Job summary

Atlas is seeking an onsite Construction Materials Testing Field & Lab Tech in Kemmerer, WY to perform field and lab testing on concrete, soils, aggregates and asphalt for public and private projects. The role combines field inspections with lab duties and requires travel to multiple sites with occasional overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will read plans, operate testing equipment, maintain accreditations, and pursue relevant certifications such as ACI and OSHA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to travel to reporting office and surrounding areas as needed.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Experience with soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt testing is a plus.
• Pursuit of industry certifications (ACI, CCRL, OSHA) encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests on concrete, masonry and other materials for quality control.
• Conduct field density testing on soil, asphalt and related materials.
• Manage lab testing of soils, concrete and other CMT materials.
• Maintain lab accreditations and follow project specs and standards.
• Daily travel to various sites with occasional overnight or weekend work.
