Job summary

Tractebel, part of the ENGIE Group, seeks a Civil Works Site Engineer to oversee civil works across Doel-related projects, under the Proximity department of the Nuclear business area. You will join the Site Team under the mentorship of the Site Lead, coordinating with Client and Contractors to ensure quality and scope compliance.

We require a Master in civil/structural engineering, relevant experience, and mandatory Dutch language skills. Hybrid work options and a range of benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Relevant professional experience in an engineering or contractor’s environment is an advantage.
• Fluency in Dutch (mandatory) and good technical writing skills.
• FANC habilitation VCA-VOL BA4 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing between Tractebel back office, the Client and Contractors.
• Inspecting Contractors’ execution activities and verifying compliance with drawings.
• Verifying and monitoring QA/QC requirements.
• Managing technical interfaces between Contractors.
• Managing and following up main design modifications.
• Participating in regular stakeholder meetings (progress, interfaces, HSE).
• Drafting work orders, site orders, and progress reports.
