Job summary

UofL Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging procedures and provide high-quality patient care. You will build accurate diagnostic images, review results with Radiologists, and ensure documentation through Cerner and PACS while maintaining safety and professional standards.

The ideal candidate has ARRT NM certification, Kentucky licensure, and BLS. Prior experience and excellent patient relations are valued in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology (required).
• ARRT NM certification or NMTCB certification upon hire; Kentucky license required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures with high accuracy according to protocols.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient history; ensure patient comfort.
• Review images with Radiologist and verify Cerner and PACS documents.
• Instruct residents and students in imaging protocols as assigned.
• Maintain credentials and ensure department compliance with HIPAA and safety policies.
