St. Joseph’s Health in Paterson, NJ, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform intravenous isotope administration, stress testing, and cardiac scans for outpatients.

You will process and analyze test data, ensuring accuracy and patient safety in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, ARRT/NMTCB certification within 12 months, NJ licensure, and BLS and IV certifications within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB required within twelve months.
• State licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• BLS certification required within 12 months of hire.
• IV certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Analytical ability to resolve problems using basic principles and in-depth knowledge.
• Ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Start intravenous and administer recommended amount of radio isotope.
• Perform stress testing and various Nuclear Cardiac scanning on outpatients.
• Complete computer processing and analysis of all test data.
