Job summary

St. Joseph's Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform IV starts, administer radioisotopes, and conduct Nuclear Cardiac imaging for outpatients at the Totowa Health Campus.

Responsibilities include stress testing, data processing, and result analysis. Must complete accredited Nuclear Medicine training with NJ Radiology licensure and ARRT/NMTCB certification within 12 months, plus BLS and IV cert within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT NM or NMTCB certification required within 12 months.
• New Jersey licensure as Radiology Technologist required.
• BLS certification within 12 months of hire.
• IV certification within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to explain clinical procedures to patients and families.
• Analytical ability to resolve technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Initiate intravenous line and administer radioisotope as prescribed.
• Perform stress testing and various Nuclear Cardiac scans for outpatients.
• Complete processing and analysis of test data using computer systems.
