Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. in Lynchburg, Virginia is seeking a CAD Technician to support engineering and shop manufacturing by creating 3D models and 2D drawings, and to modify drawings from red-lines.

You will collaborate with peers to complete reviews and administrative tasks. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, experience with NX, Teamcenter, and MicroStation, strong teamwork, self-motivation, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DOE clearance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Previous experience with NX, Team Center, and MicroStation required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance.
• U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models and 2D CAD drawings to support Engineering and shop manufacturing.
• Modify drawings based on red-line changes from Engineering.
• Collaborate with peers to complete reviews and other administrative tasks.
