Westinghouse Nuclear is seeking a CAD Technician/Nuclear Drafter for a 6–12 month W-2 contract onsite in Palo, IA. You will develop and update plant drawings in MicroStation, prepare as-built drawings, and incorporate approved changes to support nuclear operations and configuration management.

You will work with engineering and station staff to meet QA, regulatory, and document-control requirements using EDMS/Documentum and Adobe Acrobat Pro for revisions.

Formación

• 11+ years of drafting experience in engineering or design environments.
• Advanced MicroStation (2D) proficiency.
• Ability to read/interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and one-lines.
• Experience with nuclear, power, or regulated industries.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, revise, and maintain plant drawings in MicroStation (P&IDs, schematics, isometrics, general arrangements).
• Prepare as-built drawings from field markups and walkdowns.
• Incorporate approved engineering changes and document revisions.
• Collaborate with engineering/station personnel to resolve discrepancies.
• Follow site safety, radiological protection, and QA requirements.
