Job summary

Entergy Operations, Inc. is seeking a skilled CAD draftsman to perform drafting and document management tasks, maintaining drawings for nuclear power plant modifications using MicroStation Connect.

You will assemble, revise, and finalize drawings based on engineering markups under supervision, ensuring conformance to configuration management standards. Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of drafting experience with CAD software, a 2-year CAD degree or certification, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

Proficiency with MicroStation Connect or similar CAD software.
Strong MS Office skills and basic drafting knowledge.
Good verbal and written communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Create preliminary and final layouts from engineering markups and sketches.
Assemble drawings based on modifications and specifications.
Revise drawings per engineering direction and standards.
Maintain drawing standards and conformance with nuclear design requirements.
Manage document control and version tracking of drawings.
Collaborate with engineers on layout, safety, and equipment suitability.
Support distribution of completed drawings with document control/records.
Assist with computer hardware and plot/scan equipment.
