Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a Nuclear Principal Assurance Analyst to oversee and conduct nuclear assurance audits for the Duane Arnold Energy Center, with eventual relocation to Jupiter West, FL. Initial onsite work in Iowa for about three years, followed by relocation as a condition of employment.

You will lead assessment teams, evaluate safety culture, and provide objective evaluations to support nuclear safety, operational excellence, and supplier performance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED required.
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience required.
• 7+ years of experience required; nuclear experience 2+ years minimum.
• Nuclear oversight and assessment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute nuclear assurance audits and assessments.
• Provide leadership to assessment teams and set scope and methods.
• Evaluate organizational effectiveness including nuclear safety culture.
• Analyze data, interview personnel, and identify root causes and risks.
• Develop and issue assessment reports with actionable recommendations.
• Communicate audit results and improvement strategies to leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
