NextEra Energy Nuclear is seeking a dynamic Nuclear Technical/Maintenance Instructor Sr to lead training programs at our Palo, IA site with support from Jupiter, FL. You will oversee world-class maintenance training for the nuclear fleet, delivering instruction on-site and remotely using advanced tech.

Qualifications

• Revises instructional materials to reflect changes in plant design and practices.
• Provides direction and coaches less-experienced instructors.
• Leads training program to ensure compliance with NRC, INPO and company standards.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

NextEra Energy Nuclear is seeking a dynamic Nuclear Technical/Maintenance Instructor Sr to lead cutting-edge nuclear training programs at our Duane Arnold Energy Center in Palo Iowa, with corporate support from our Jupiter, FL headquarters. You will oversee world-class maintenance training that impacts our entire nuclear fleet, delivering instruction both on-site and remotely using advanced technology. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops, delivers and improves assigned training courses, supporting materials and instructor/student evaluations using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
• Revises instructional materials to reflect changes in plant design, current plant practices, regulations, and/or operating philosophies
• Provides direction and coaches less-experienced instructors
• Serves as the training program lead to ensure all elements of assigned instruction comply with company standards, NRC regulations, INPO accreditation criteria, and other codes, standards and regulatory requirements
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 7+ years
• Nuclear Experience: 7+ years

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's - Sciences
• Bachelor's - Engineering
• Certified Nuc Trng Instructor Classroom

Special Requirements

Nuclear Specific Requirements:

• Bachelor's in a technical field (e.g., Math, Physical Sciences specialty, Engineering) or equivalent education and/or experience
• Related industry OR nuclear training experience: 8+ years
