Curtiss-Wright Nuclear | QualTech NP Cincinnati is seeking an Applications Engineer to join the Cincinnati, Ohio team. You will support pre-sales activities, analyze requirements, and prepare technical and commercial proposals to win new business across nuclear products and services.

The role reports to Inside Sales Manager and requires collaboration with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. Travel to customer sites may be needed to support technical implementation and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 4–6 years of related experience in applications engineering or similar roles.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, cost estimation, and proposal development.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into system plans and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and standards to develop clear, concise proposals.
• Develop technical compliance matrices with scope and clarifications.
• Provide innovative solutions to engineering problems and prepare cost estimates.
• Support pre-sales meetings, site visits, and customer discussions.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and vendors to meet requirements.
