NTP Decatur - Crane and Mobile Equipment Technician

Nucor Tubular Products – Decatur is seeking to fill the positions of Crane/Mobile Equipment Tech. This role supports the coordination and execution of safely maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading all overhead traveling cranes and plant mobile equipment.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Safe work record and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proven self-starter with demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude with crane/mobile equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience
• At least five (5) years' experience in crane/mobile equipment maintenance
