Job summary

Gottlieb & Greenspan, a growing boutique law firm in Bergen County, seeks an experienced Insurance Relations Specialist to supervise NSA awards, settlements, and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the billing lifecycle.

The role involves building strong relationships with insurance carriers and clients, guiding internal and external partners on NSA requirements, monitoring regulatory updates, and maintaining HIPAA confidentiality, with a focus on timely client payments and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare insurance operations, billing compliance, or related areas.
• Ability to understand and interpret medical EOBs.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with insurance carriers and clients to resolve awards, underpayments, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with carriers to improve timeliness and accuracy of client payments.
• Provide guidance on NSA requirements and best practices to internal and external partners.
• Monitor regulatory updates and assess impacts on contracts, claims, and payer communications.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality across activities.
• Develop reports, track metrics, and present recommendations to leadership.
