Under the guidance of a manager, you will oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed. Job Responsibilities
  1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production sheets and recipes.
  2. Direct daily activities.
  3. Maintain food safety and quality according to policies and procedures.
  4. Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free storage of food items.
  5. Maintain serving schedules; serve food per menu specifications following policies.
  6. Ensure a sanitary environment complying with health and safety codes.
  7. Maintain weekly inventory records.
  8. Prepare orders as needed for accurate production.
  9. Supervise, evaluate, and counsel employees; promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
  10. Maintain a safe working environment.
  11. Train and mentor food service workers.
  12. Keep logs on equipment maintenance and food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions.
  13. Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment replacements.
  14. Proficiency in multitasking.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
  16. Fill in for absent employees as necessary.
  17. Monitor and ensure timely preparation and delivery of catering events.
  18. Work occasional night and weekend catered events.
  19. Attend staff meetings and maintain communication via various channels.
  20. Perform cashier duties if needed.
  21. Promote good public relations.

Qualifications

  • Complete a sanitation course before or during the first year.
