Job summary

Nokia seeks a highly skilled NPI and Trials IP Engineer to drive innovation in telecommunications. You will work on trials, demos, and proof-of-concept projects shaping the future of mobile networking.

A deep understanding of IP routing, signaling, network management and OSS is required, along with strong pre-sales skills to secure opportunities and deliver complex projects. Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of related experience and familiarity with Nokia IP equipment, BGP/OSPF/ISIS, IP/MPLS,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of related experience.
Knowledge of Nokia IP Network equipment.
Experience with routing and switching including OSPF, ISIS and BGP.
Knowledge of IP/MPLS protocols and services such as VLL, VPLS, VPRN, IP Tunnels.
Experience with QoS, multicast, IPv6 and network management systems.
Familiarity with SDN and IP network testing equipment.

Responsibilities

Define and run product or solution demos, lab trials, field trials, and support homologations or type approvals by customers.
Provide technical support during pilot introduction of new products in customer networks.
Interpret internal and external business challenges to improve New Product Introduction related processes and services.
Contribute to strategic decisions within the professional area and mentor junior staff.
Lead pre-sales activities and engage in customer-facing interactions and on-site visits.
