Job summary

Nokia is seeking an experienced IP Architect to drive technical engagements with web-scale customers. You will collaborate with account teams and business units to develop technical account strategies, promote Nokia solutions, and influence product direction based on customer priorities.

This role offers exposure to cutting-edge networking and enterprise-scale deployments. You should have 6+ years in engineering, 2+ in customer-facing roles, strong Linux, scripting, DevOps, and IP networking

Qualifications

• At least 6 years in engineering roles and 2 years in customer facing roles.
• Experience with Linux, scripting and DevOps development.
• Experience with IP networking and products.
• Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to discuss with Webscale Network Architects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical account strategies with Account teams and BU.
• Build close technical relationships with Customers and promote Nokia solutions.
• Provide BU feedback to guide product direction and align with priorities.
• Develop deep understanding of Customer's business and applications.
• Provide technical guidance to Sales teams.
• Drive and manage RFI, RFP, Demos, POC, NPI, test plans and network design.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Work closely with Account teams and BU to develop and execute technical account strategies
• Develop close technical working relationships with Customers and effectively promote solutions offered by Nokia
• Provide BU feedback on Customer requirements to guide product direction and solutions alignment with customer business/network priorities
• Develop deep understanding of Customer's business and application
• Provide technical guidance and direction to Sales teams
• Drive and manage RFI, RFP, Demos, POC, NPI, test plan creation, and network design

Key Skills And Experience

• At least 6 years in various engineering roles and 2 years in customer facing roles
• Experience with Linux, Scripting and DevOps Development
• Experience with IP networking and products
• Driven, self-motivated, and a "take-ownership" attitude
• Exceptional customer facing skills and ability to have a knowledgeable conversation with Webscale Network Architects about technology

It would be nice if you also had:

• B.S. Degree in Computer Networking or similar or equivalent experience required
• Multifaceted and the ability to learn, adapt, and deliver quickly under pressure from many constituents
• Good listening, verbal, written, presentation and project management skills
• Optical and Data Center Networking knowledge a plus
• Experience with Open Source Network Operating Systems (SONiC)
