Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Industrial Engineering NPI Trainer to develop and deliver training on New Product Introduction processes for manufacturing teams on the floor and in classrooms.

You will design modules, lead sessions, evaluate impact, and collaborate with IE, Manufacturing, Operations and Program Management to close training gaps. Stay current with lean principles and Jabil methodologies while coaching launches.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and delivering technical training programs to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, time studies, process mapping, line balancing and capacity planning.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industrial engineering software tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, CPLP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update training modules and materials for NPI processes, including process flow, line balancing, time studies, capacity planning, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for manufacturing engineers, production operators, supervisors, and other personnel, on the floor and in classrooms.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and metrics, and continuously improve programs.
• Collaborate with IE, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Program Management to identify training gaps and develop targeted solutions.
• Provide hands-on coaching during NPI launches, ensuring adherence to processes and assisting with problem-solving.
• Stay current with industry best practices and Jabil's NPI methodologies to ensure content stays relevant.
• Develop and maintain training documentation including outlines, presentations, exercises, and evaluation forms.
• Act as SME for NPI industrial engineering principles and provide guidance to teams.
