In this hands-on role, you will work with design engineering on DFM/DFA, support prototype through production builds, coordinate equipment acquisitions, and partner with safety and quality teams to drive

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering or related hands‑on manufacturing experience. Involvement in tooling/fixturing design or fab and weld is a plus.
• Travel: 10-15%
• Work Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; meets role expectations.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop tooling, fixtures, jigs, weld fixtures, and aids to support new product launches.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to provide DFM and DFA feedback.
• Support prototype, pilot, and production builds; identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Specify, justify, and support the purchase of new manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, and validation on the production floor.
• Develop and document fabrication and weld processes, including weld sequencing, fixturing, and work instructions.
• Partner with quality teams on weld inspections, defect reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Support daily production by addressing tooling, equipment and process-related issues.
• Participate in lean and continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
