Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Technician Engineer to support test engineering efforts, assist in building testers and fixtures, and provide documentation and training for test solutions. You will coordinate with Test Support and Manufacturing to ensure timely readiness and drive continuous improvements in yields and uptime.

The role emphasizes working with manufacturing to balance cost, coverage, and efficiency while maintaining high quality test processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
• Ability to apply common sense to simple instructions.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Test Engineer in the development and commission of test solutions.
• Provides deliverables to support the solution in production to Test Support and Manufacturing.
• Assists in build and manufacture of testers, fixtures, and tooling.
• Offers interface to Test Support with documentation and training.
• Monitors test yields, efficiency, and uptime with reporting and targets for improvement.
• Coordinates timetable for test readiness with Test Support staff.
