Job summary

Aeva in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead NPI and prototype production across multiple programs. You will coordinate resources, supervise daily activities, and ensure builds meet engineering requirements and schedules.

The role partners with Quality, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management to resolve issues, maintain configuration control, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, production, NPI, or prototype.
• 2+ years leading or supervising manufacturing personnel.
• Experience with ERP, MES, PLM systems.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in high‑tech or complex electromechanical settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily prototype and NPI production across programs.
• Plan resources, labor, equipment, materials, and workstations.
• Ensure builds follow engineering docs, BOMs, and configurations.
• Coordinate concurrent builds with revision control.
• Monitor progress and report schedule risks to stakeholders.
• Lead the team and set priorities.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve production issues with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain build status, records, and traceability.
