Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to develop and execute sourcing strategies for product requirements.

You will partner with Engineering to translate technical needs into supplier requirements and lead RFQ processes with suppliers. The role focuses on AVL alignment, supplier capability, cost targets, and risk mitigation while maintaining strong supplier relationships and contributing to supplier scorecards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading AVL development and comprehensive sourcing execution.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and cost tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product-specific sourcing strategies.
• Lead RFQ processes, supplier evaluations and negotiations.
• Ensure material readiness for NPI programs and manage BOM changes.
• Track BOM cost, cost targets, and supplier quotes.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams on sourcing decisions.
