Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a New Product Introduction Sourcing Manager for Data Center Power & Cooling. This hybrid, remote-friendly role oversees the NPI program for power equipment, from concept through ramp, coordinating between electrical/mechanical design teams, suppliers, and factory tests.

Travel 30–40% to supplier sites and data centers. You will drive early supplier engagement, ensure manufacturability, and sign off on production readiness, contributing to scalable, reliable data center power

Qualifications

• 8+ years in power electronics or related energy systems with ≥4 years in NPI/product engineering.
• Experience with BESS, inverters, or data-center power equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of qualification standards: UL 9540/9540A, IEEE 1547, IEC equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Own the NPI program for power and cooling products from concept to ramp.
• Drive early supplier design engagement and define product requirements.
• Lead DFM/DFT/DFx reviews with suppliers for manufacturability and testability.
• Plan prototype/pilot builds and define test plans and sample counts.
• Qualify products for deployment with FAT/SAT and first article inspection.
• Handover to Manufacturing Quality and Supply Chain teams for ramp.
• Build reliability targets and feed field failure data back to next revisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional schedules with design, construction, and utilities.
