Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Mankato, MN is seeking a Quality Engineer - NPI to embed quality into the design and development of new genset products. You will drive reliability, support innovation, and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

You will lead NPI quality planning, DFSS/FMEA, prototype testing, launch readiness, and post-launch monitoring while promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across manufacturing and engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering is required.
3+ years quality engineering experience with large industrial equipment (or 7 years if applicable).
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

NPI Quality Planning: Develop and implement quality plans for new product introductions.
Design for Quality: Incorporate quality into product designs using DFSS and FMEA and oversee PFMEA.
Prototype Testing and Validation: Oversee testing and validation to ensure they meet quality and performance specs.
Launch Readiness Assessment: Ensure quality criteria are met before product launch and escalate quality concerns as needed.
Post-Launch Quality Monitoring: Monitor product quality post-launch and implement corrective actions.
Promote a compliance culture and live Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
Perform special projects as required.
