Job summary
Rolls‑Royce in Mankato, Minnesota, seeks a Quality Engineer for New Product Introduction to embedquality from design through production of genset products. You will lead NPI quality planning, DFSS and FMEA, prototype testing, launch readiness, and post-launch monitoring to ensure reliability and compliance.
This role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing engineering with 3+ years of quality engineering experience with large industrial equipment and a proactive,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing engineering with 3+ years quality engineering experience in large industrial equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours or shifts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality plans for new product introductions from design to production.
- Collaborate with design/engineering to embed quality using DFSS and FMEA; oversee PFMEA.
- Oversee prototype testing/validation to ensure products meet quality and performance specs.
- Conduct launch readiness assessments to ensure quality criteria before market entry.
- Monitor quality after launch and implement corrective actions as needed.
