Job summary

Rolls‑Royce in Mankato, Minnesota, seeks a Quality Engineer for New Product Introduction to embedquality from design through production of genset products. You will lead NPI quality planning, DFSS and FMEA, prototype testing, launch readiness, and post-launch monitoring to ensure reliability and compliance.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing engineering with 3+ years of quality engineering experience with large industrial equipment and a proactive,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing engineering with 3+ years quality engineering experience in large industrial equipment
Ability to work flexible hours or shifts.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality plans for new product introductions from design to production.
Collaborate with design/engineering to embed quality using DFSS and FMEA; oversee PFMEA.
Oversee prototype testing/validation to ensure products meet quality and performance specs.
Conduct launch readiness assessments to ensure quality criteria before market entry.
Monitor quality after launch and implement corrective actions as needed.
