Job summary

PEG Staffing & Recruiting seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation. The role focuses on maintaining product quality, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvements across the production process.

The successful candidate will work closely with production teams, suppliers, inspectors, and leadership to identify problems, analyze data, and implement practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate or 2-year technical degree in Electronics Technology or related with 5+ years QA experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3+ years manufacturing quality experience preferred.
• Strong GD&T and engineering drawings knowledge.
• Experience with SPC and quality control processes.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support quality activities for new product launches and introductions.
• Develop and maintain inspection and control plans.
• Perform product inspections, testing, and quality analysis.
• Review blueprints, drawings, specs to verify conformance.
• Use SPC and data to evaluate process performance and identify improvements.
• Investigate nonconforming materials and coordinate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with purchasing to resolve vendor quality issues.
• Document QA findings, corrective actions, and actions.
• Support calibration for gauges, fixtures, tools, and measurement equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
• Manage quality-related projects in a fast-moving environment.
