Job summary

Wilson Tool Canada is seeking an experienced Project Manager for New Product Introduction at its White Bear Lake, MN facility. You will lead cross-functional teams from concept through stable production, ensuring launches meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.

You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain activities, drive stage-gate milestones, and manage risks and resources to deliver successful product introductions and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, business, project management, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in project management, new product introduction, product development, manufacturing engineering, or operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from concept through production launch.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience using Planview Project Advantage to manage project plans, milestones, resources, risks, deliverables, and reporting.
• Familiarity with formal Stage-Gate product development processes and associated reviews and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple NPI projects from concept through stable production.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings, design reviews, stage-gate reviews, launch-readiness reviews, and post-launch evaluations.
• Track project actions, resolve conflicts, identify resource needs, and escalate issues.
• Provide clear, concise project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across product management, sales, engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, supply chain, finance, and customer-facing teams.
• Ensure manufacturing, quality, sourcing, service, and operational requirements are addressed early in development.
• Coordinate prototype builds, pilot production, testing, validation, and production ramp-up.
• Lead production-readiness assessments and verify materials, equipment, and training before launch.
• Monitor early production performance and transition development to normal production ownership.
