Qualifications

• Experience with lithium-ion batteries and related process steps (slurry, coating, cell design) is required.
• Data-driven approach to problem solving and experimental design.
• Proficiency with databases and data analysis tools (JMP, Python).
• Excellent communication with internal groups and external customers; Korean/Japanese fluency a plus.
• Ability to plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Laboratory safety best practices.
• BS/MS in engineering or science or PhD with university experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead joint development partnerships by coordinating technical meetings and delivering data packages.
• Design and execute experiments in small and prototype full cells across slurry, coating, cell design, and test methods.
• Perform failure analysis in pouch full cells to identify root causes.
• Apply data analysis and modeling to interpret results and guide design iterations.
• Communicate plans and results to internal stakeholders and partners.
