Job summary

Rantec Power Systems, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for NPI and Production Transfers. You will lead cross‑functional teams from development through ramp to steady production, ensuring readiness, quality, and cost targets.

You will partner with Engineering early to embed manufacturability and DTUPC goals into designs. The role drives material flow, labor planning, and qualification support, coordinating transfers to the Layton, Utah facility and other sites while escalating risks and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, related field preferred.
7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or NPIs preferred.
Experience supporting new product introduction, production readiness, and ramp.
Strong leadership and cross-functional influence required.
Proven project management and risk escalation abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead Operations for NPI and production transfers from development through ramp to steady production.
Design and implement an operations readiness and transfer framework with clear milestones.
Collaborate with Engineering to ensure manufacturability and DTUPC targets are integrated early.
Lead cost and readiness tracking for DTUPC targets across development and ramp.
Coordinate transfers to Layton, Utah and other locations, ensuring on-time readiness and handoff to ongoing ops.
