Job summary

GridTran, part of Endeavour Infrastructure, seeks a Senior Manager, NPI Manufacturing in Atlanta, GA to own the end-to-end NPI process, build the first demonstration units, and stand up GridTran's internal NPI line, coordinating with contract manufacturers.

You will lead an NPI team across certification, reliability, PLM integration, manufacturing engineering, and test, while driving DFM/DFX improvements and ECO changes; this role involves domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years engineering experience including 2+ years managing multi-disciplinary NPI or manufacturing engineering teams.
• Proven track record launching power conversion hardware in high-tech hardware environments.
• Experience running a build line with takt planning and DFM/DFA/DFT; hands-on troubleshooting.
• Experience with ERP/PLM environments and CM engagements for technology transfer.

Responsibilities

• Own development and execution of detailed NPI project plans across EVT/DVT/PVT and ramp readiness.
• Manage build readiness plans: part availability, tooling, fixture readiness, and ECO-based changes.
• Design and stand up GridTran's internal NPI line with tooling and test fixtures for repeatable builds.
• Lead the NPI team across certification, reliability, PLM integration, and testing.
• Own CM engagement and technology transfer; qualify suppliers and coordinate long‑lead components.
• Drive DFM/DFX/DFT initiatives to improve manufacturability, yield, and cost ahead of volume production.
• Ensure complete manufacturing documentation in PLM and manage ECO changes with traceability.
• Define KPI dashboards for Time to Market, first-pass yield, cycle time, and on-time delivery.
• Travel to CM and supplier sites domestically and internationally.
