Job summary

Bio-Rad is seeking an NPI Production Planner II based in Hercules, CA to drive pre-launch production activity, including BOM coordination, cost analysis and ensuring material readiness for build dates.

The role maintains MRP-driven finite production schedules in SAP, analyzes inventory, capacity, and bottlenecks, and works with cross-functional teams to optimize timing, reduce scrap, and improve on-time delivery across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Supply Management or related field.
• 3-5 years of planning/scheduling experience in LEAN manufacturing.
• SAP experience is a plus; APICS CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI activities including cost analysis and BOM coordination.
• Maintain mid- and long-term production plans and S&OP alignment.
• Create and maintain production schedules using MRP in SAP.
• Analyze inventory movement, safety stocks, and excess materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity and on-time delivery.
• Develop and communicate scheduling metrics and improvement opportunities.
