Job summary

Jiga seeks a Manufacturing / NPI Engineer to own the end-to-end transition of parts from prototype through to production. You’ll manage design-for-manufacture reviews, first-article inspection planning, and qualification protocols with suppliers and customers.

This role emphasizes process rigor, cross-functional coordination, and data-driven problem solving. You’ll partner with suppliers to transfer knowledge, verify on the shop floor, and ensure parts scale to 1,000+ units while staying within

Qualifications

• NPI and production program experience across DFx and PPAP stages.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings (GD&T).
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and customers on manufacturing plans.

Responsibilities

• Own the NPI funnel from RFQ to production ramp.
• Run DFM reviews to surface manufacturability issues early.
• Define tooling transition plans from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with customer engineering and suppliers on design and process decisions.
• Build and own FAI, inspection plans, and qualification protocols.
• Enforce configuration control and ECN/ECO flows.
• Manage programs end-to-end as the technical PM.
• Develop supplier audits and drive cross-functional implementation.
