Job summary
MACOM invites a Product Engineer, NPI, to join our Hamilton, NJ team. You will manage the product lifecycle, develop documentation, and drive quality and cost improvements across design, test, and manufacturing interfaces. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, strong problem-solving, and relevant lab instrumentation skills; knowledge of statistical methods and software programming is a plus.
Eligible candidates must be U.S. persons per ITAR.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering required; MS a plus but not required.
- Experience with product life cycle management and NPI processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; able to drive cost improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own New Product Introduction lifecycle and documentation.
- Interface with Design, Test, Applications and Quality Engineering.
- Characterize products and analyze test data for quality and yield.
- Develop production test specifications and support manufacturing.
- Drive cost reductions through design and process improvements.
