Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced NPI Buyer to lead procurement for new product development in Gilbert, Arizona. You will partner with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Quality, and Suppliers to ensure supplier readiness, cost competitiveness, and timely launches.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, stage-gate procurement, and management of RFQ/RFPs, APQP/PPAP milestones, and risk mitigation to accelerate time-to-market while meeting quality and cost targets.

Competenze

• 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience supporting product launches or new product development.
• Experience with automotive, HVAC, or complex manufacturing environments preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead procurement activities supporting new product development from concept to launch.
• Interface with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Quality, and Suppliers.
• Drive sourcing through stage-gate milestones and RFQ/RFP processes.
• Monitor supplier readiness, PPAP status, and launch risks.
• Develop should-cost analyses and cost reduction opportunities.
