Job summary

Absolics Inc. in Covington, GA is seeking an NPI Process Engineer to own Glass Core Substrate product development from customer engagement to launch.

You will define specs, drive sample builds, qualification, and production ramp, working with customer engineering teams and CAM/process groups to ensure manufacturability. The role requires hands-on process engineering experience in substrate or semiconductor packaging, experience with reliability testing and qualification, and strong collaboration

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
3+ years of substrate or semiconductor packaging engineering experience.
Experience taking a product from development through customer qualification and launch.

Responsibilities

Own new GCS product development programs end-to-end from customer requirements through production launch.
Translate customer requirements into product specs with CAM and process engineering to confirm manufacturability.
Lead internal development builds and coordinate with manufacturing and process teams to drive improvements toward spec.
Coordinate product analysis (cross-section, electrical, dimensional, surface) to characterize new products.
Lead customer technical meetings to present status and qualification progress.
Drive product launch activities in coordination with customers from qualification to initial production.
