Job summary

Corning is seeking a Product Development Engineer in Keller, TX to drive mechanical design for new optical and hardware products. You will develop CAD models (Creo/SolidWorks/NX), create detailed drawings, and lead cross-functional projects with teams across Domestic and International locations.

Travel up to 10% is expected. Qualified candidates hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering and have 2–5 years in product development, with expertise in injection molded and sheet metal parts, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical preferred.
• Electro-Mechanics, Mechatronics or Optical considered.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize mechanical design solutions for new product development.
• Create mechanical designs for plastic injection molded and sheet metal parts.
• Provide 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for concept presentations and analyses.
• Lead projects from a technical standpoint and collaborate with global teams.
