Job summary

Acara Solutions in Wilmington, MA is seeking a Purchasing/Planning professional to support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain and Program Management teams. You will align material needs, update the Bill of Materials to drive R&D timelines, and leverage SAP ERP experience for BOM management.

5+ years in purchasing/planning in manufacturing.
Experience collaborating across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule and monitor products through the PDP.
Coordinate production plans to ensure material availability.
Manage on-time delivery against ship dates.
Resolve capacity and material constraints to avoid delays.
Approve material lists and ensure timely procurement and receipt of production materials.
Manage NPI Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Coordinate with engineering to maintain BOMs in SAP.
Release parts/modules to production and create work orders and purchase requests.
