Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Staff NPI Manufacturing Engineer to support new product introductions at multiple manufacturing locations in Indianapolis, IN. This on-site role reports to the Sr.

Manager, Global NPI Operations-Systems/Hardware. You will collaborate with suppliers, procurement, operations, and planning to qualify parts, develop processes, issue work instructions, and release prints and BOMs for pilot and production builds.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology.
10+ years of manufacturing, quality, or process engineering experience.
experience with instrumentation design and integration of complex electro-mechanical systems.
familiar with machining, metal casting, composites and fasteners; CAD/CAE tools; GD&T; statistics.
experience leading design changes in regulated environments (FDA/ISO/Automotive).
strong problem-solving methods with data analysis and project leadership.

Responsibilities

Support supplier selections and part qualifications with procurement and supplier quality.
Develop and qualify processes; run NPIs and create work instructions.
Release prints and BOM; coordinate production parts for pilot and production builds.
Represent Operations as Core Team member for NPIs.
Mentor team members on NPI standard work.
