Job summary

Libra Industries, a Texas-based EMS provider, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive new product introductions for high-reliability electronics and assemblies. You will collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to define processes, develop work instructions, and implement DfX improvements to cut costs and improve quality.

The role requires 5–7 years in electronics manufacturing, knowledge of IPC standards, and Lean Six Sigma fundamentals.

Qualifications

BS Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 5-7 years in high-reliability electronics.
Experience with PCBA/CCA processes and manufacturing.
Knowledge of DFM, PFMEA, and Lean/Six Sigma fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Participate on Customer Focus Teams for new product introduction launches.
Interface with customers and internal teams to coordinate product release.
Provide DfM/DFx feedback and train personnel for product integration.
Develop labor time estimates and define assembly processes and work instructions.
Configure BOMs/routings and manage design changes in PLM.
Establish process controls, FMEA, and line balancing initiatives.
Support root cause analysis for manufacturing non-conformances.
