Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a versatile Manufacturing Engineer to bridge design and production, leading NPI transitions and guiding the product lifecycle on the shop floor. You will optimize processes, validate assembly methods, and collaborate with Quality, Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability, cost effectiveness, and supplier readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related).
5+ years in manufacturing engineering, ideally with electro-mechanical systems.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) and PLM/ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of fabrication methods (CNC, molding, sheet metal, etc.).
Excellent communication with contract manufacturers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

NPI & Design Support: Lead transition of products from R&D to production; drive DFM improvements.
Technical Documentation: Interpret drawings, schematics, BOMs; be the main technical contact.
Process Optimization: Develop/validate assembly methods, tooling, and testing; apply lean initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain on specs and onboarding.
